Closets Project: The Results

I knew exactly what I wanted for the closet long before doing the work. In fact, I’d bought the shelving unit 10 months prior to the actual renovation! The box was too heavy for me to move, so it stayed in my car all that time. I’ve since bought drawers to put in the bottom two shelves, but haven’t added them yet.

My plan was to buy a second shelving unit and put it next to the current one. That would shorten the clothing rod on the north wall, but I planned to add double clothing rods (one above the other) on the south wall. Unfortunately, I believe that the particular brand of shelving I used has been discontinued, so it may be difficult to complete my vision.

It took me almost 3 weeks to perform the transformation.

But we weren’t done with Projects yet…
