More South Dakota Photos

Homeward Bound

Mom, Dad, Monte and I drove home via Chadron, Alliance, and Broken Bow. Highway 2 is a scenic route, but kinda pales in comparison to the Black Hills.

Lakota Lake

We stopped at the very pretty Lakota Lake for a picnic lunch. We observed the flora and fauna.   That rock formation is awfully small! 🙂 Me at the Lake. Willy went fishing while Niles played shy behind his grandmother.   Other than a little wind, it was a beautiful day!

Iron Mountain Road

Today Monte and I went with Carrol, Marcy, Willy, Carole, and Niles for a drive on Iron Mountain Road, which features lots of beautiful scenery.
