This is best described as exotic tea flavored hot chocolate. Kind of a cappuccino for the tea set. I was a little leery of this one, since I'm a fan of cocoa but don't like tea. However, I have to admit I really like this drink! Maybe because for some bizarre reason I think it sort of smells and tastes like the oatmeal-raisin cookies my mother used to make. Odd, because her cookies didn't have any tea or chocolate in them, and this Chai Latte doesn't have oatmeal or raisins. Go figure that one out...
A follow-up: One of my co-workers, who is addicted to chai latte, says Watkins' Chai Latte is "almost but not quite as good" as Tastefully Simple's chai. But she ordered 2 anyway. (And Watkins is about 20¢ cheaper per ounce.)
